Nationally certified Benefit Health and Fitness trainers will customise strength and conditioning programs that are designed to create a healthy foundation of cardiovascular fitness as well as muscular endurance and strength. Benefit Health and Fitness has trainers that are ready to work with beginners, intermediate or advanced fitness individual. Programs can be as challenging as your fitness goals desire.

As a new member of Benefit Health and Fitness, you will be given a comprehensive fitness evaluation and club orientation from one of our professional trainers.

Personal training

At Benefit Health and Fitness we take great pride in having the Best Personal Trainers, we are constantly working to keep up with each individuals needs, our Trainers are constantly learning new ways to keep you in the best shape you have ever been in. If you want to see results “fast” we really suggest going one on one with our expert Personal Trainers.

Group fitness

Group fitness is a fun way to get yourself into shape, you are training to some great music that puts you in the frame of mind to push yourself just that little bit more and with our amazing instructors guiding you through the safe and effective workout techniques you will be looking fantastic in no time.

Mountain Creek State High School has invested in Benefit Health and Fitness to ensure benchmarks set by the state government for the enhancement of health and fitness of students are exceeded. Your children will benefit from using the facilities through purchasing a membership as well as being introduced to the facilities during school time. We believe that developing healthy, sustainable lifestyle habits while at this formative age will be one of the most important lessons your children will learn at school.

Class Description

BFIT BAR: (60 min class) starting with a general warm up, the class then works all the major muscle groups. The focus is on correct lifting techniques and the use of light weights and high repetitions that will give a well-toned and lean body in a matter of weeks, this class is guaranteed to make you feel the burn.

Cardio Blast: (45 min class) Think spin cycle with a twist! This class promises to be a super dooper cardio class with a difference. No more loneliness on the treadmill, loss of interest on the cross trainer and sinking boats on the rower. Join us for a 45 min class run by a personal trainer to maximise your cardio fitness in a safe, enjoyable and guaranteed results class! (Bookings for this class are essential).
Cardio Boxing: (60 min class) Our cardio boxing classes are the best around. This one hour class provides an excellent full body workout combining the fundamentals of boxing training including skipping, punching bags, focus pads as well as cardio, core and strength exercises using dumbbells and medicine balls. This class is suitable for beginners to advanced and will teach you boxing combinations and technique as well as building your cardiovascular strength and increasing your overall stamina at the same time. Studies have shown that a one hour Cardio Boxing class will burn between 700 – 1,000 calories.

Cardio Boxing Max: Our 1 ½ hour Saturday morning Max class is one of our most popular classes. Take it to the next level with this high intensity total body workout. Our Trainers will teach you boxing skills and techniques increase your muscular and cardio endurance, take your core strength to a new level, and burn off more than just calories!

Free2Box: (45 min) The Group Fitness room is available for you to go in and use the boxing bags to work on your skills and also to relieve the pressures of your day.

Pilates: (60 min class) Pilates improves flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness, Pilates is a non-aerobic form of exercise. It requires concentration and focus, because the body is moved through precise ranges of motion. Pilates caters for everyone, from the beginner to the advanced. You can perform exercises using your own body weight, or with the aid of various pieces of equipment.

BFIT ABS: (30 min class) It is a killer, in this class you will be taken through a series of safe, fun and effective core strength exercises that have been put together to target every muscle in your Abdominal and back region. This class is great for everyone, have you got what it takes?

Kickboxing and Muay Thai: (60 min) this class is taken by former Amateur world and professional Australian Kickboxing champion Josh B1 Bromley, he will share his knowledge with you so don’t miss out on this opportunity!

Abs/Legs Combo: (30min class) This class is a double killer class (or should we say serial killer), think BFIT ABS plus a phenomenal legs work out. You will be taken through a series of safe, fun and effective core strength exercises and an ever changing range of leg strength exercises. Using the large muscle group that is the legs, you are guaranteed to burn plenty of calories as well as building tone and strength through the targeted areas of the abdominals and the legs.

Yoga (60 min class) Yoga improves posture, increases the intake of oxygen, and enhances the functioning of the respiratory, digestive, endocrine, reproductive, and elimination systems. Yoga is highly recommended for people in competitive, stressful working environments, for those who suffer from headaches, back and shoulder aches, allergies, and asthma; and for anyone over the age of 40 (although the younger, the better)

Zumba: (60 min class) The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba class!

BFIT STEPPER: (60 min class) This is a freestyle class, so you are in the hands of the instructor. It is a high energy class using a step that you move over and around to get yourself into ultimate shape all whilst listening to some great music.

BFIT BOOT CAMP: (60 min) This is our weekly outdoor session, rain, hail or shine. You will be put through your paces using different training techniques, it could be boxing, kickboxing, running, sprinting, weight training. Who knows what you will be in for, one thing is guaranteed and that is hard work and fat burning.
